The president of America Mr. Barack Obama appointed Geeta Pasi as Indian-American diplomat. Pasi, who served as an embassy of US to Djibouti from 2011 to 2014 is a member of overseas service, as the minister counselor. Currently she is working at career development and assignments in the bureau of human resources as a director in state department. The declaration of Pasi’s nomination as the next US diplomat to the central African nation of Chad came along with numerous other appointments to the major post of administrations. In the press conference Obama showed his privileged to announce the name of the individual who are nominated to serve the country. He again added that he is loved to work with these geniuses. Pasi served as a director of East African affairs in the bureau of African affairs s during the period of 2009 to 2011. She was the assistant chief of mission at the US embassy in Dhaka from the year 2006 to 2009. During the period of 2003 to 2006 she worked as the deputy principal officer at the US consulate in Frankfurt, Germany. From her joining into Foreign Service in the year 1988 she has been served at posts in Cameroon, India, Ghana and Romania. Pasi has completed her bachelor degree from Duke University, US, and then she did her MA in French studies in New York University. The new officials are expected to give their best for the betterment of the country. The cordial relationship between India and America can be improved by the appointment of these talented individuals. The strategy of diplomat will boost the financial growth for both the countries. To maintain the good ties between the countries the envoy has a typical importance.
